Senior Night was one to remember. Lady Tigers Varsity Basketball team celebrated their seniors in front of a packed, Tiger Pride-themed student section. The gym was filled with energy, posters, flowers, and support as the Lady Tigers took on Buhach Colony, and came out victorious with a final score of 56–31.
The night was dedicated to honoring four outstanding seniors: Kanin Welch, Devanie Vargas, Katelyn Ramirez, and Victoria De La Torre. Each athlete has dedicated four years to the LBHS program, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, leadership, and commitment.
Family members and friends filled the stands with handmade posters, thoughtful gift baskets, and bouquets of flowers to celebrate the seniors’ accomplishments. ASB also contributed to the celebration by creating posters and presenting each senior with flowers in recognition of their dedication to the program.
Two of the seniors, Welch and Ramirez, have served as team captains this season, leading both on and off the court. Their leadership played a key role in the team’s success throughout the year.
Under the leadership of Head Coach Lorinda Sanchez, the Lady Tigers have continued to build a strong, competitive program focused on teamwork, discipline, and pride.
With the Tiger Pride student section bringing nonstop energy, Senior Night was not only a celebration of the seniors’ dedication but also a statement victory. The Lady Tigers’ win made the night even more special, giving the seniors a well-deserved and memorable send-off on their home court.
Congratulations to the Lady Tigers seniors on an incredible high school basketball journey!
