Spending time with loved ones for Christmas is important, but traveling too far can sometimes prevent that from happening.

An event called Blinky’s Drive Thru will be happening on December 31st. There will be light shows, light tunnels, festive displays and giant candy canes. Blinky’s Drive Thru will be displayed in Santa Clara at its fairgrounds, located at 250 Umbarger Rd at 5p.m.-10p.m. However, this event is more of a drive thru experience rather than walking.

 Tickets need to be purchased at the Santa Clara Drive Thru website where the lowest ticket price is $25 per person. This event will be pet friendly and tickets do not need to be physical, online tickets will be accepted. If any questions remain, the website will provide more information about the parade and its dates. 

Another Christmas event happening will be Fresno’s Zoo Lights Downtown Parade until December 23. Animal lanterns, Christmas lights, and Santa Clause will appear during the walk-through. This event will be taking place at Fresno’s Chaffee Zoo on Belmont Ave at 5:00 p.m-9:00 p.m.  

Tickets will have to be purchased online at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo website which is referred to as fcz.org. Adults who are members of the Chaffee Zoo will get a $2.00 discount. Adult tickets will cost $23.00 and tickets for children up to the age of 11, get charged $19.00. As for those who are not members of the Chaffee Zoo, adult tickets will cost $25.00 and children tickets remain at $19.00.
